DANA LEE BROWN is a creative textile studio developing soil-to-loom fabrics togther with North American farms and supply chains.
With a focus on organic and restorative farming — The design begins with natural fibres grown and raised from the Cascadian coastline to the Maritimes, followed by fibre processors, yarn spinners, weavers, knitters, and sewers that support the continuation of these regional fibre systems.
While textiles today are typically reliant on complex global supply chains, the curious challenge of exploring what can be made from resources close at hand continues to shape the work.
The resulting fabrics are shaped into clothing, with a present emphasis on menswear and a growing focus on womenswear.
