Organic Heavy Jersey

This cozy, thick, buttery-soft jersey is made from Organic Upland Cotton grown by T.O.C.M.C., a co-operative of organic farmers in South Plains Texas

After the raw cotton is locally ginned (the process of removing/ obtaining seeds) & carded (the process of cleaning and webbing the fibres into a continuous form), the resulting soft sliver is both spun into yarns & knitted into fabric in the Carolinas. The yarn-spinning mill is one of two small mills in the US that will spin organic cotton.
