A relaxed fitting over-shirt with a rounded hem, pocket & cuffs. Sewn from a lightweight but lofty cozy knitted fabric, trimmed with natural corozo buttons.

Each shirt is finished with a hand-chronicled label, tracing the wool & cotton's journey from farm-to-final-garment.

Rambouillet Wool Cloud Fleece, Hand-dyed Indigo

The first of our locally grown-and-foraged dye offerings

This Tennessee Indigo is a plant-derived indigo produced in Tennessee in collaboration with neighbouring community farms. Hand-dyed and in limited quantity, each sweatshirt has it's own unique character and is accompanied by a 1/15 hand-numbered edition.

A luxuriously light, buoyant, fluffy fleece- The fuzzy, napped inside of this custom fabric is made of the smooth, soft wool from Rambouillet sheep, regeneratively-raised on California-Nevada border at the edge of the Great Basin high desert. The smooth, slightly puckered outside (also the rib and tape) is made from Organic Upland Cotton grown by T.O.C.M.C, a co-operative of organic farmers in South Plains Texas. After the raw cotton and wool are ginned, carded, washed, and combed, they are spun into yarns by small mills in North Carolina and Maine. The yarns are then knitted into fabric by our mill in Quebec.

Please Care for This Item Like a Wool Sweater:
Hand Wash Cool:

Soak in a large container, sink, or tub using cool water. This is the easiest method for washing. After rinsing, gently squeeze water out (do not wring) or press between towels.

Use Wool-Friendly Detergent:
If you prefer to use detergent, make sure it’s a wool-friendly option. If you're unsure, it's fine to wash it with no detergent.

Wash Alone:
To avoid abrasion and potential damage, wash this item by itself. Do not add other garments.

Lay Flat to Dry:
Avoid hanging the item to dry as this may stretch it out. Lay it flat on a clean surface to retain its shape.

No Dryer:
Do not put this item in the dryer. Air drying is best to maintain its integrity.

Tip: If you're having difficulty removing excess water, you can use the "drain & spin" cycle on a TOP LOADING washing machine. However, make sure no other garments are in the load to prevent pilling. Front Loading machines can distress the garment.
